Sexism Sells — But We’re Not Buying It

As the sexist tone in the media reaches a fever pitch, the Women’s Media Center created this video to illustrate the problem and send a message to the media: Sexism might sell, but we’re not buying it! Sign our petition here: www.womensmediacenter.com

@mrdamienholt Why should women be treated like queens, when they have done extremely little to make the world what it is today, and when men are forced to die for them. 95% of workplace deaths are men, and just think of what war do to men, while women can sit at home safe.

I don’t call that oppression towards women.

They should have equal rights, but the reason they don’t get equal pay is not because people give them less. Search for “The startling truth behind the pay gap” here on youtube.

@mrdamienholt Number 1, Women do have equal rights as men but they don’t have equal outcomes. To create equal outcomes (i.e. wage and employment equality) you need unequal rights and special treatment to force two unequal groups to have equal outcomes- that is the paradox. Number 2, employers are in the business of making money. If women weren’t weaker than men, employers would hire them in spades to make more money. Number 3, monarchy has no business in the 21st century.

@Ztiller1991 Feminists have weak minds and weak values so it is not suprising that we see feminists characterizing anything they don’t like as “misogyny.” Their censorship is only testament that they can’t rebuke the facts which stack up before them faster than pie plates at a NOW convention.

@frabjousness All the shit Hillary puts up with like receiving millions of dollars and patronage (which she actually denotes as experience!) for simply being married to a president. Aside from the fact that Hillary is morally bankrupt she has no integrity apart from doing anything to appease whatever whim the public holds. For instance, she initially signed the Patriot Act (then recinded her decision) because feminists don’t care about civil liberties, they care about power for themselves.

This is really messed up I feel that women should have equal rights like men do. I’m male and yes i’m a feminist. I feel that workforces should not treat women like there weak, because to be honest they really are not. They are powerful and without women think about it we would not be born. we should respect them and treat them like queens :)
